The Orange Field Day Co-op Ltd owns 130 hectares of grazing land at Borenore where the annual agricultural exhibition is held.
 
The site is used throughout the year to conduct livestock trials and for other events such as the Central West Garden and Lifestyle Expo.
 
The 5th Central West Garden & Lifestyle Expo will be held on 19 & 20 March 2011.

FEATURE EXHIBIT - ITALY

Italy as Guest Nation
The Guest Nation Exhibit is an opportunity for the suppliers of agricultural products and ideas in Italy to showcase these to Australian farmers.
 
From our perspective the Guest Nation Exhibit attracts much attention from rural media throughout Australia and is sure to generate additional interest from visitors.
Italy and Australia have long enjoyed close relations, both from a cultural and a trade perspective.
 
Australian National Field Days is an event on the primary producer calendar and we view it as a valuable opportunity to further strengthen trade links between our two countries and look forward to a strong Italian turn-out in Orange this October.


2010 ANFD Steer Competition

The 14th ANFD Steer Competition is the perfect way to see how your steers compare to others and gain valuable performance information in the process.
 
The steers will be backgrounded for 100 days on grass and finished for a minimum 100 days in Gundamain Feedlot.
 
Carcass Specifications: Based on a minimum 100 days on grain feed.
Class 1 300 - 370kg with 320 - 350kg optimum (dressed weight)
Class 2 360 - 430kg with 380 - 410kg optimum (dressed weight)
 
Closing dates for nominations: Monday 27 August 2010
Delivery of Steers to ANFD Site: 4 - 6 September 2010
